Ride-hailing platform
2026
JaldiGO
A complete ride-hailing platform: rider and driver apps, live tracking, payments and an operations console.
The challenge
What made this hard
Ride-hailing is one of the hardest things a small team can attempt. Two apps have to stay in step with each other in real time, drivers have to be verified before they ever carry a passenger, the fare has to come out the same on both sides of a trip, and every rupee has to be traceable afterwards. On top of that it had to run on costs that made sense for the Pakistani market, not for a Silicon Valley budget.
The approach
How we tackled it
One shared foundation behind both the rider and the driver experience, so a change ships to both sides at once instead of being built twice.
Security enforced at the data layer rather than in the app, so a driver cannot see another driver's trips even if someone tampers with the phone.
Mapping and routing chosen so the running cost stays proportionate to the market, instead of growing with every trip taken.
An operations console for the work that actually keeps a platform alive: approving drivers, settling disputes, adjusting fares and watching live trips.
Delivered
What we built
Rider and driver apps
Booking, live driver tracking, fare estimates, trip history, ratings and notifications, on both Android and iPhone.
Driver onboarding and verification
Document upload, a review queue and an approval step, so nobody carries a passenger before a real person has checked their paperwork.
Operations console
A dashboard for approvals, live trips, pricing, payouts and support, with permissions so each operator only sees their own remit.
Notifications that arrive
Trip alerts that reach a driver reliably, including the awkward parts of Android that quietly silence them if they are set up carelessly.
Outcome
Where it stands today
JaldiGO is live and running real trips, with the operations team managing drivers, pricing and support entirely through the console. It runs on infrastructure priced for the market it serves.
